The Portrait

When people think about what a portrait is, you can almost certainly predict that they have thought of a photograph of a person as well as it including their face. But does a portrait have to include a person’s face? In this series I am exploring what else could be a portrait, what other things are just as unique as a face? The actual definition of a portrait is something that captures who a person is, whether that includes other things of importance such as surroundings or things that help to display who that person is.
